Regulation of the Marathon of Villages

Art1. REGISTRATIONS
The Marathon of Villages wants a big feast of the sport for all.
Individual registrations : for no sport licence owner: only are taken into account the registrations accompanied with the payment, with the medical aptitude certificate of capacity or a photocopy .
For sport licence owner : join the photocopy of their license for licenses requiring a medical examination, for other licenses join one medical aptitude certificate.

Race opened to the major runners.
Attention: limited Registrations. The number of the participants will be limited to 1 500.

Enrolment fees: France: 35 € TTC before April 30th, 2009 then 40 € TTC (which VAT in 19,6 % = 6,56 €) from May 1st, 2009. The close of the registrations will be made on Sunday, October 4th at midnight.

Art2. NUMBERS -
They are name specific, any change of name will be possible after printing.
- retreat of the number: only on production of the CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION which will be sent to you in April.
Numbers will be removed from the market of Piraillan, on Saturday, October 10th from 10 am till 8 pm and on Sundays from 7 am till 8 am for the latecomers.
- attention no refund in case of cancellation (except subscription of the insurance valid cancellation in case of wounds on production of medical certificates, of force majeure, of joint death or spouses).

Art3. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE OF NOT CONTRAINDICATION
Attention! Registration conditioned by the sending of a Medical certificate of practice of the running in competition delivered less than 1 year before the race (Photocopies by the insurant authorized).

Art4. DEPARTURE / ARRIVAL
Start at 9:30 am from the market of Piraillan and arrival to the same place.

Art5. CIRCUIT
hilly Course with numerous portions of bicycle tracks (24 %), roads, passageways of villages and roads. Circuit closed in the traffic during the duration of The race (6:30 am). The runners are then invited to conform to the traffic rules and to take only the official course. Race was limited at 6:30 am of time, beyond, the finishing line will be closed and the runners will not be rewarded.
Passage Controls are set up on the circuit: every unchecked nrunner on the circuit will be neither classified nor rewarded.

Art6. CYCLES WERE FORBIDDEN
Considering the narrow-mindedness of roads, the presence of cycles is dangerous for the safety of the runners, more since the large number of refreshment stands make any personal assistance unnecessary.
Every runner accompanied with a cycle will be disqualified and cycles will be removed by the authorities .
However, we authorize cycles accompagnants on « the océane » road of the Cap Ferret experimentally.

Art7. SECURITY
Assured by the police and the volunteers of the Marathon of Villages. The medical care is assured by numerous first-aid workers and doctors.

Art8. TIMING
It will be made by chip ( ChampionChip).

Art9. WITHDRAWALS
Every runner who wishes to give up will have to stop at a post provisioning situated every 4 km.
A shuttle will pick you up to the arrival.

Art10. REWARDED IN THE ARRIVAL
All the runners ending the Marathon of Villages within 6:30 am will be rewarded by prizes distributed at their arrival. This time, 6:30 am, is widely enough to a marathon runner even beginner to take advantage of provisionings, tastings of oysters and animations.

Art11. PRIZE-GIVING
At 4:00 pm to the market of Piraillan attention: the prizes will be put handed only to the present runners in the prize-giving. Subsidies to the winner Man and Woman.

Art12. SPECIAL CLASSIFICATIONS
Challenge of the Club Company by addition of the better two time

Art13. THIRD-PARTY INSURANCES
the organizers are covered in civil liability by an insurance policy. Individual Accident: the licences owner get benefice of the guarantees granted by the insurance bound to their license. Other participants have to get an insurance. Wounds, accidents, even deaths, competitors during their participation in the event or during their sports trainings are of their whole responsibility. The responsibility of the organizers could be engaged by no means in such accidents, or supposed led by the use of the information, advice or services proposed by the organizers as well as the legal successors such as the partners. The organizers decline any responsibility for any physiological, immediate or future accident which could arise to the competitors because of their participation in the event.

Art14.IMAGE COPYRIGHT
The organization reserves the right to exploit photos and videos taken during the event. By registering you on one of these event, you abandon your image copyright to DLG and Co.

Art15. CNIL law
>According to French IT law and the freedom of January 6th, 1978, you have an access right and of rectification in the data concerning you. By our intermediary, you can be brought to receive propositions of the other companies(societies) or the associations. If you do not wish it, you only have to write us by indicating us your name, first name and so possible your number of number.
